This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and protect your personal data when you visit this website, and the rights you have over that data under the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679, “GDPR”) and the French Data Protection Act (Act No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978, as amended).

2. What personal data we collect

Depending on how you use this website, we may process the following categories of personal data:

3. Why we process your data and our legal bases

  • Measuring audience and producing statistics (analytics) — legal basis: your consent for cookies that are not strictly necessary.
  • Displaying advertising, including personalised advertising — legal basis: your consent, collected through our consent banner.
  • Ensuring the security and proper operation of the website and preventing fraud or abuse — legal basis: our legitimate interest.
  • Complying with our legal and regulatory obligations — legal basis: compliance with a legal obligation to which we are subject.

Where processing relies on your consent, you are free to refuse, and you can withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

4. Who has access to your data

Your personal data is accessible to our authorised staff and may be shared with the following categories of recipients, acting as processors or independent controllers and only to the extent necessary:

  • Our hosting provider: YOUR HOST , which stores the website and its data.
  • Google LLC / Google Ireland Ltd, for audience measurement (Google Analytics) and advertising (Google AdSense), subject to your consent.
  • Embedded content providers (YouTube, Dailymotion, X, Instagram, Facebook), when you view content embedded from these platforms.
  • Where required, public authorities, courts or our professional advisers, solely to meet a legal obligation or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

We require our processors to provide sufficient guarantees and to process personal data only on our instructions, in accordance with Article 28 of the GDPR.

5. Transfers outside the European Union

Some of our providers, in particular Google, may process data on servers located outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where this is the case, such transfers are governed by appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission’s adequacy decision for the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. 6. How long we keep your data

We keep your personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected:

  • Contact requests: kept for the time needed to handle your request, then up to 3 years from our last contact.
  • Newsletter: until you unsubscribe, and in any event no longer than 3 years from your last interaction.
  • Comments: kept for as long as the related content remains published.
  • Server logs: kept for a maximum of 12 months for security purposes.
  • Audience-measurement and advertising data: cookie lifetimes are set out in our consent banner and generally do not exceed 13 months; the resulting statistics are kept for a maximum of 25 months.
  • Data kept to comply with a legal obligation: for the period required by the applicable law.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

  • Right to object to processing based on our legitimate interest, including profiling, and at any time to processing for direct marketing.
  • Right to withdraw your consent at any time, where processing is based on consent.
  • Right to define guidelines regarding the fate of your data after your death.

We do not carry out any automated decision-making producing legal effects concerning you, within the meaning of Article 22 of the GDPR.

9. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against loss, misuse, unauthorised access, disclosure or alteration — including the use of HTTPS encryption, access controls and regular security updates.

10. Children

This website is not directed at children under the age of 15. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children below this age. If you believe that a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so that we can delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, in particular to reflect legal or technical changes. The applicable version is the one published on this page, with its “Last updated” date. We encourage you to review it periodically.
